Garmin Forerunner 201.
Garmin have put the emphasis on personal sports performance with the
Forerunner 201. With real features to check on your current speed, lap times, and a virtual training assistant that compares your time/distance with your own pre-set target. It will also give you a map page, which shows a history of where you have been, and even guide you back.
How many calories did you use? There's an answer for the past day (down to minutes), a week or longer. And a history of your performances for the same periods. And you can even see your performance on the map page. And then there is 100 point storage as well, for simple "goto" navigation.
The
Forerunner 201 has very dynamic position ability, while running a continuous automatic record of where you have been. Backlighting is perfect for lowlight or night time. The
Forerunner 201 comes with a 240v charger and a built in Liion rechargeable battery. A wrist strap and an extension strap are included.
Performance profiles and records can be downloaded to computer, using Garmin software specially designed for the Forerunner series (free from Garmin's website).
