- Simple, interactive interface
- Advanced features such as programmed turns and search or fishing patterns
The
GHC 10 is an easy-to-use, full-colour control unit for the Garmin GHP 10 Autopilot system for power boats.
The bright and crisp full-colour screen is easy to see in bright sunlight or at night. Clear graphics let you view exactly what the pilot is doing at any time. Operation is simple, with a dedicated standby button and clear prompts and confirmation of button presses. Advanced features such as programmed turns and search or fishing patterns are easy to access, together with a Man Overboard manoeuvre.
The GHC 10 gives boaters the confidence and security of controlling the heading of the boat at the press of a key. For example, each press of the steering soft key will change the commanded heading of the autopilot by 1°. And as a safeguard, a dedicated "Standby" key allows you to instantly place the autopilot in standby to keep it from re-engaging.
The GHC 10 communicates with the GHP 10 Autopilot system via a NMEA 2000 bus, enabling the sharing of autopilot heading data with other devices.
It can also communicate over NMEA 2000 or NMEA 0183 to a chartplotter to steer to a waypoint or follow a route.
