The high-sensitivity GPS receiver with Hotfix™ acquires your position quickly and maintains its precise GPS location, even in heavy cover and deep canyons. Dakota 10 comes with a preloaded worldwide basemap and 850MB of internal memory to accept Garmin compatible mapping, such as Topo Australia, or 5m contours.

The Dakota 10 has area measurement functions, making it equally useful for farmers, loss adjusters, land-owners, agricultural consultants, and aquaculturalists. Area measurement is simple and fast. The Garmin Dakota 10 also includes Garmin's TracBack Feature, which allows you to retrace your path back to where you started.
