Like the rest of the units in the eTrex series, the
Legend H is a lightweight and compact GPS. A great choice for hiking, bush walking, or international travel.
The
Legend H features a new generation ultra-sensitive GPS chip, 18 hour battery life and USB interface.
You can load detailed marine mapping, street mapping, or contour mapping onto the 24MB internal memory. Other important features include pan/zoom map page, 1000 waypoint storage,
Tracbak feature, and computer connectivity via USB. For farming, agriculture, agronomy, aquaculture and related endeavours, the
eTrex Legend H measures distances and directions between points, and area measurements.
The
Garmin eTrex Legend H is waterproof and runs for 18hrs from 2 AA batteries.
The preloaded basemap includes Australia/SW Pacific road and feature mapping - displaying lakes, rivers, cities, roads coastlines and landmarks. You can save up to 10 track files (each up to 750 points) and 20 routes with 125 waypoints.
It is fully waterproof, so don't be afraid to load Garmin marine map Bluechart to use in the boat. It can withstand the elements or an accidental dunk in water.
The four-way cursor allows for smooth, easy one-hand operation. Use on a bike or quad - perfect for farm, ornithology, planning or environmental work. Very useful GPS for agriculture, irrigation, mining, geology, and other professional requirements. The
eTrex Legend H has
area measurement functions, making it equally useful for farmers, loss adjusters, land-owners, agricultural consultants, and aquaculturalists. Area measurement is simple and fast. Just walk, drive or ride around the perimeter to be measured, press a button, and there you have it. Ask for our special instructions, free on purchase of this GPS.
