The
Haicom Hi-305III uses the acclaimed SirfIII new generation GPS chip, with 20 instead of 12 channels for satellite reception.
GPS receiver with Compact Flash type1 / mini-1394 interfaces and built-in active antenna for high sensitivity. It is based on the SirfIII high-performance chip set. This gives better updates in reduced visibility, urban canyon, or other weak signal tracking situations.
HI-305III is well suited to many mobile devices such as, PDA, notebook PC, and Tablet PC. Applications include in-car navigation, topographic mapping and touring, GIS data collection, tracking, and marine navigation, Users can simply plug it into a PDA or other type of handheld PC running with suitable mapping and routing software.
You can use the
Hi-305III with the following versatile connections (optional) And in any situation, you can use the SD card slot for additional memory.
1. CompactFlash GPS receiver in PDA or (PCMCIA) computer
2. PDA GPS receiver using cables
3. Computer GPS using USB cable
4. Bluetooth GPS using Hi401 BT sleeve
On the side of
HI-305III, there is an SD memory slot. Insert the SD memory card containing the mapping software, so that the GPS data and the map data can be accessed simultaneously via the Compact Flash interface from the PDA, laptop PC, etc.
With appropriate drivers installed, and the SD memory card inserted, the Compact Flash interface will create a suitable folder from the host device. Or simply use the
HI-305III as an SD card reader in CF interface.
