Bluetooth BT-405 now has a 20 channel SirF GPS engine. This Bluetooth GPS has a long lasting removeable battery. You can send continuous GPS data to host devices, such as a notebook PC, Pocket PC, Smart Phone, Tablet PC, etc. Simply connect the BT-405 GPS receiver to the 12volt cigar socket, and you have true mobility for your in-car navigation mapping.
The HAICOM Bluetooth Hi-405BT is a wireless remote GPS unit. The Bluetooth GPS incorporates it's own battery supply, so it will not be a drain on the Palm/PocketPC or other computer power.
Attaching in the vehicle: Bluetooth Hi-405 is 20% larger than contemporary Bluetooth GPS, making it more stable for positioning in a vehicle. The Bluetooth GPS receiver can be placed, either under the back window of the car, or under the front windshield.
Changeable battery: The battery can be changed without interrupting the GPS position signal.
Multi-function Connector: The functions of the mini-1394 connector on the side are for charging the battery in the Bluetooth GPS from 12v DC or 240v AC, (or with optional PCB USB cable, from a USB port)
Long Lasting Battery: Up to 25 hours for the standard battery. With the solar panel added, the battery can stay active for up to 12 hours or more, depending on available sunlight.
You can use the Bluetooth Hi-405BT GPS with any Bluetooth compatible computing device. You also require suitable mapping or other software, to receive GPS information.
