Overview
- Will operate from OmniSTAR signal, *OR* AMSA marine beacons in Australia
- Realtime accuracies of 50-70cm when using OmniSTAR or AMSA beacons
- Includes multi-purpose antenna, and serial cable. Setup, tested, and backed with help from the Johnny Appleseed GPS - GIS support team
Sub-metre realtime GPS (using either OmniSTAR or the Australian AMSA marine beacon system) for any PDA, tablet or computer, or less than 5 metres using a Garmin handheld.
PDA, Tablet, or Computer, using GIS software, for professional mapping, and guidance applications (0.5m): Data collection field work can be done quickly and accurately with the
Crescent R100 series DGPS receiver. Rely on consistent sub-meter performance, when used in conjunction with the Australian AMSA marine beacon, or subscription based OmniSTAR service. The Crescent R100 series is perfect for connection to most PDA, Tablet, or computer, using GIS software such as Arcpad, Cyber Tracker or GBM Mobile.
Garmin handheld GPS (0-5m): Simple data collection field work can be done quickly and accurately, with the
Crescent R100 series DGPS receiver connected to certain serial interface models of Garmin GPS. Accuracies of 2-3 metres are obtainable anywhere in Australia.
The Hemisphere R130 outputs standard NMEA sentences (or RTCM sentence), and is supplied with an RS232 serial cable for connection to the applicable input device. The R130 needs to be powered from a 12V DC power source. The GPS antenna, OmniSTAR antenna, and beacon antenna are all in the one compact dome. Power, charger(s), backpack, and antenna pole are extra cost.
There's also a package deal with a nomad and arcpad software.
