The OmniSTAR 9200HP receiver is capable of 10-15cm accuracy (with a suitable Omnistar HP signal), due to the position computation process using signal phase measurements, with dual frequency observations used to solve atmospheric errors.

The Omnistar 9200HP features 1PPS output for synchronising with navigation and positioning devices. With built-in Bluetooth, you can connect wirelessly to PDA or tablet computer, and also offers ethernet IP support. Its rugged, waterproof enclosure protects the receiver in severe weather, and against accidental drops.

The front panel display and keypad allow for easy monitoring and configuration, alternatively you can use a web interface. The VFD display allows for 16 characters x 2 rows, with 6 operating buttons. You can view and adjust the current receiver settings without connecting to a computer.

This package includes dual frequency antenna and all necessary cables. Can be upgraded (paid unlock code) to make use of the G2 (GPS and GLONASS) system for improved reliability and increased availability of positioning at sites with obstructed view of the sky. The built in 2.4Ah 7.4V Li-ion rechargeable battery will power the unit for 12 hours operation. The unit is fully waterproof and dustproof.

OmniSTAR HP application
Many outdoor sciences require position data, and other input recording techniques. Combining the Windows Mobile or PC operating systems on rugged or standard PDAs or laptops, and the OmniSTAR HP system, the user can collect valuable data quickly.

There is no need to set up independent base stations, or radio systems, and there is no reliance on recording for later post-processing by computer. Position accuracy can be monitored and recorded in real time.

OmniSTAR-HP provides robust and reliable decimetre level (0.1m horizontal) GPS position for Surveying, Geology, Botany, Outdoor and Earth Sciences, Marine Studies, Aviation and Agriculture.

OmniSTAR HP service
OmniSTAR High Performance (OmniSTAR-HP) is the latest dual frequency GPS augmentation service. It can give precise locations in real time, by reference to virtual points, to form baselines.

For GIS field applications, we can supply a combination of hardware and software.
Typical users may want either PDA such as HP, or ruggedised PDA, such as the Getac PS535F Rugged PDA.

Software can range from very basic mapping tools such as Agmapper, Oziexplorer or Fugawi, or more sophisticated data capture programs such as Arcpad or GBM Mobile.
