The
Leica Rugby 55 provides the tools needed for virtually any leveling or alignment job. The
Leica Rugby 55 features an easy to use keypad, a watertight seal, variable head speeds, selectable scanningmodes, a bright red beam and alkaline or rechargeable battery pack.
The
Leica Rugby 55 is fully sealed and provides an accurate reference for both interior and exterior leveling applications. The bright, red beam provides a clear reference for layout as well as horizontal and vertical alignment when working with interior walls. Mount the
Leica Rugby 55 to a tripod, batter board clamp or setting on its own, you can align and square with confidence. For use with suspended ceilings, simply mount the
Rugby 55 securely to the first piece of wall angle, set it to the desired height, adjust the ceiling grid using the laser beam on the target as the reference and your're good to go. Set up the level over a control point for your floor layout using the unique Beam Down feature. Then align the rotating or scanning beam to your second control point using the buttons on the unit or the remote control. Always achieve perfect square measurements as the top plumb beam is always 90° to the main beam. Set up and align the
Leica Rugby 55 to two control points, and the top plumb beam will provide an easy to use, 90° reference.
The scanning or stationary beam can be quickly positioned in 90° increments, making layout easier by quickly moving the beam to the left or right side of the Rugby 55. Beam Down mode allows the rotating head to automatically position itself in a plumb down direction for reference over a point. Save battery life by utilising "Sleep Mode" - for up to two hours without disturbing your setup.
