GPS Tagging

Search for the footage you want to playback, simply by touching the spot on the Touch Screen map where you shot it.

Turn on GPS and your Sony Camcorder will log the latitude and longitude position of every piece of footage (or still image) shot. Then in playback mode a map can be displayed on your Touch Screen LCD showing where the selected footage was shot.

To choose a scene to watch, simply tap the screen marker. It's an ideal way to review and share your foreign travels.

You can also transfer your video to a PC using the included Sony PMB (Picture Motion Software) software. PMB integrates with Google Maps so you can highlight your clips then plot the footage across Australia, and the world! You can view street level and satellite images of the places you’ve visited too; then enjoy the scenes you shot there.
