For the one-off cost of this traffic receiver, users can get traffic updates and let the TomTom device re-route them around congestion, accidents etc accordingly.
When the
TDS-TMC Traffic Receiver is connected to your TomTom, you will recieve traffic incidents automatically over the TMC connection. Once you plan your route, traffic warnings (including total time of delay and distance to incident) that are in your path are clearly displayed on the traffic bar on the main screen.
Detailed information on the incidents can be found by selecting the traffic bar. You can view the cause of incident (accident, construction, congestion, traffic building etc) location, duration and length of incident. Perfect for those times when you just can't be late no matter what!
