Blue Chart Pacific CD rom is for loading GPSMAP 76 and 60 series, eTrex Legend, Vista, iQue, Quest, and GPSV. You may also load multiple chart areas on one blank memory card, for other Garmin MAP models with card slots. Includes tidal data.

Garmin Marine BlueCharts - all Pacific and Asia

These Bluechart pre-loaded memory cards and Micro SD cards will work in certain Garmin GPS models. Please check that your GPS product is compatible with these charts. Details on the chart areas are shown in the table. There are three larger chart areas covering all of Australia. Asia Pacific areas also available.

MPC cards suit Garmin chartplotters with the proprietry Garmin memory card slot.

XPC cards suit the Garmin handheld GPS with the Micro SD card slot, and can suit some other SD card slot Garmin.

On newer Garmin chartplotters, where the marine charts are pre-loaded, you can use the enhanced G2 Vision memory cards. These provide features such as auto routing through channels, and 3D mariner-eye and fish-eye views of the marine environment. Garmin MAP GPS with G2 Vision map card compatibility, cannot use Bluechart mapping from CD Rom or from SD Map card.

Detailed electronic nautical charts for several pre-defined regions in the specifiied area - select the offshore region of your choice
* Shows shaded depth contours and intertidal zones with spot soundings
* Provides navaids with view range and coverage
* Includes chart information such as chart name, number, scale, revision date and latest Notice to Mariners
* Displays wrecks, restricted areas, cable areas, anchorages, shoals and spoilage
* Tidal predictions based on tide stations located in Australia and the Pacific.

Marine chart coverage is divided into regions. With the purchase of MapSource BlueChart CD ROM, customers will have access to one region area of their choice. The region must be unlocked to view the detail on the computer, and to load that region to the GPS. The unlock process is done through the GARMIN website, via the Mapsource Unlock pages. Johnny Appleseed GPS can assist you with the unlock process if required. Additional regions on the CD rom, can be unlocked, with the purchase from Johnny Appleseed GPS of an additional Unlock Certificate.

Please Note: When using an unlocked MapSource product, the real-time track plotting function will work only with a valid unlock code for the GPS unit being used.
