Conditions of entry:

1. Entry is free to Johnny Appleseed GPS customers who purchase a Garmin voice-guided in-car navigator GPS, on or after 1 June 2005, and on or before 31 October 2005. Entry is by email, a link is given below. Entry is limited to permanent residents of Australia. The winning entrant will be required to produce evidence of residential status, to the satisfaction of the judges.
2. The contest will be judged by a panel appointed by GPS Express Pty Ltd, the owners of Johnny Appleseed GPS.
3. The competition will be closed on 31 October 2005. Emails received after this date will not be acknowledged. The winner will be notified by email on or about 15 November 2005, and the surname and state of residence only of the winner, will be made public.
4. The entry must include the following information, in the body of the email:
(a) a serial number: this is the serial number of the Garmin in-car navigator purchased from Johnny Appleseed GPS, on or after 1 June 2005, and on or before 31 October 2005.
(b) a category: this is the type of tyre the customer would like to win, using a single letter or description. The letter C will represent the set of Cooper tyres, the letter P will represent the set of passenger car tyres, and the letter B will represent the set of motor-bike tyres.
(c) a description: in no more than 40 words stating why you, the customer, like using the Garmin voice-guided in-car navigator GPS which you purchased from Johnny Appleseed GPS.
5. Entries considered suitable will be acknowledged, and will be included in the contest. Entries containing material that is offensive to the judges, will not be acknowledged, nor included in the contest.
6. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this competition is governed by this condition. Entrant's email addresses may be used by Johnny Appleseed GPS for further promotion of our products and services, but probably no more than twice annually. Entrant's email addresses will not be divulged to any company or person outside our organisation.
7. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on literary merit, creativity and wit. There will be three winners, one winner will be chosen within each of the categories C, P and B. The decision of the judges will be final, and no correspondence regarding the decision will be entered into.
8. All entries remain the intellectual property of GPS Express Australia Pty Ltd, trading as Johnny Appleseed GPS.
9. In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, a winner does not collect the prize on or before 15 February 2006, then the prize will be forfeited by that winner, and no prize will be offered to any other entrant. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
10. There will be three winners, and each winner will receive a prize of a new set of tyres, including fitting and balancing, at a tyre dealer nominated by GPS Express Australia Pty Ltd.
The winner of category C (prize value to a maximum of $1,500) will receive the set of 4 Cooper tyres.
The winner of category P (prize value to a maximum of $1,000) will receive the set of 4 passenger car tyres.
The winner of category B (prize value to a maximum of $500) will receive the set of 2 motor-bike tyres.
11. The winner will be responsible for arranging with the nominated tyre dealer, the time, date and place of fitting and balancing the tyres. The owners of Johnny Appleseed GPS will not be responsible for any additional expenses or any liabilities of any kind, incurred by the winner in making arrangements with, or visiting the tyre dealer, in relation to collecting their prize.
12. The prize value will be determined by the recommended retail price of the tyre set in each category, as publicly listed by the wholesaler or retailer of the tyre set on 1 November 2005, such wholesaler or retailer to be at the discretion of GPS Express Australia Pty Ltd.
