A free map roamer scale (an aid to reading coordinates from maps) is available with each GPS purchase. Please ask at time of purchase.

We will upload your existing Garmin waypoints/favourites free of charge when you purchase from us a new Garmin GPS.

If you purchased your Garmin GPS (any model) at
Johnny Appleseed GPS, you are entitled to free upgrades on the firmware, and for Garmin portable navigators, free uploads of custom POI including red light and fixed speed cameras, school zones, low bridges etc. This also applies to some TomTom models.
Garmin regularly improve the performance and operation of the newest models by updating the operating software. Just call at, or send unit to my shop. Upgraded while you wait. (Any freight or carriage is paid by the customer)
(If you did not purchase your GPS at Johnny Appleseed GPS, the charge for firmware upgrade or POI loading is $49.)

If you purchased your Garmin GPS (any model) at
Johnny Appleseed GPS, you are entitled to
free advice or support.
You may phone (using 1800 477 477), or call at one of our shops. You need to quote the serial number of your GPS, or your purchase docket number and date. In some cases, we will return your phone call after verification of your details.
Support or advice may include:
How to questions, relating to button pushing or operation on your particular GPS.
Relating your GPS to maps and street directories. This can include information about map datums, mapping projections, position formats and coordinate systems.
Unusual or unique applications.
Area calculation and rural applications notes specific for various models of Garmin GPS, are provided free to our customers. (Unfortunately, we cannot offer these notes if you did not purchase GPS at Johnny Appleseed GPS).
I can assist GPS users who did not purchase here, either on the phone or in shop, but only after confirming a credit card charge for a minimum of $33. This allows for the first 15 minutes consultation. The charge after that is $1.10 per minute.
Consultancy service on GPS is available at an hourly rate.

Layby (layaway in US) is available for purchase. We hold your purchase in safe keeping till fully paid-for. Price is fixed at the time of layby.
Conditions:
20% deposit, 3 months to pay. Layby may be cancelled at any time within one month, no fees, deposit refunded in full.
If layby is cancelled after one month, deposit will be refunded less $33, or 5% of purchase price, whichever is greater.
