Garmin Voice Studio

Garmin Voice Studio allows you to customise the voice directions on your compatible nuvi. Record your own voice, or your family or friends!

Simply download the free software from Garmin, and install it on your PC.

The easy to use software asks you to record common phrases, that can be edited and reviewed directly using the software.

Garmin Voice Studio is a fun and easy way to add personality to your compatible Garmin Nuvi!

After installing the Voice Studio software (available for free download here), simply click "File" "New Voice". You can enter a name and language to identify your voice.

All the different phrases used will appear on the left. Simply click on a phrase and then the "Record" button.

You can Play, Trim, or Re-record your recording.

After recording all the phrases, simply connect your compatible GPS to your computer, and click "Send to GPS".

To select your voice on your compatible GPS, simply go to the Language Settings menu on your GPS and select the name you gave your voice.

Garmin Voice Studio is compatible with IBM-compatible PCs running Windows® XP Service Pack 2 or later operating system. Garmin Voice Studio does not provide text-to-speech recordings. An external microphone is recommended for optimal voice recordings.
