Area measurement is simple and fast. Just walk, drive or ride around the
perimeter to be measured, press a button, and there you have it. A really
productive feature for farmers, botanists, agronomists, graziers, oyster and
fish culture, salt-works... etc etc.
Purchasers of either the GPS72 or GPS76 who ask
for this feature, will be supplied with full instructions. In addition, a phone
support package is available.
New technology includes a built-in quadrifilar antenna for superior reception.
View your location on a large, sharp, four-level grayscale screen for excellent
separation and contrast. Be aware with the audible alrms for waypoints,
hazards, and anchor.
The GPS 72 can be packaged with a mounting bracket for vehicle or boat, and the
combined power and data cable. This allows for a permanent external power
source, and also real time plotting of GPS positions on computer, or later
downloading of waypoints. When used outside of the vehicle or boat, the GPS72
simply unclips, and will use the internal 2 AA cells for up to 16 hours.
The proven performance of 12 parallel channels, allied to better power
management, no-battery memory, and casing technolgy, means the GPS72 will

Map Page: Black

course to a waypoint that has been saved.
Compass Page: Compass with
course pointer, and customisable data fields displayed on this page. Perfect

navigating a route, the 3D 'highway' page is available, which indicates turns
and bearings by showing a black road path.
Main Menu: Menu page allows
access to more of the GPS72's features. Manage your saved
tracks/routes/waypoints etc.
Sun and Moon Page: The
GPS72 can show you the current moon/sun data for your current (or any other)
location. Times for sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and moonset are also shown.
