This lightweight, rugged, waterproof unit has a large sunlight readable screen, and will run for over 28 hours from 2 AA batteries. Includes rapid automatic route calculation with tone guidance, an integrated outdoor calendar, a dedicated geocaching mode, and indoor/outdoor GPS games. Use with street maps, or mapping showing 4WD tracks, and rural roads, or marine charting, available on CD. The GPSMAP60 is supplied with a USB computer cable, lanyard, belt clip, and a CD-ROM, with the Trip and Waypoint Manager software for use on the computer.

'In-use' Screen Examples:
Map Page: The black triangle indicates your current position. As you move, the map rotates so that you are always driving/moving up the map.
3D Highway Page: When
navigating to an address (auto or manual), this page is available which indicates upcoming turns and bearings by a virtual road. If you venture off course, you will appear 'off' the road.
Auto-Routing Map Page: The solid black line with grey outline indicates the driving directions that have been auto-calculated.
Compass Page: Compass with
course pointer, and customisable data fields displayed on this page. Perfect
for road and marine navigation.
Route Preference Page: Choose how you want the GPSMAP60 to calculate routes. Optimise for car, truck, emergency vehicle etc. Avoid toll roads and u-turns if you want!
Trip Computer Page: This page can be customised to suit your individual requirements. Each field can be individually changed to headings such as maximum speed, driving time etc.
