Garmin's new chart plotters are pre-loaded with marine chart detail for all of Australia's and New Zealand's coastline. This equates to over $700 worth of Garmin Bluechart marine mapping, so there is no need to fiddle with data-cards or computers. Chart detail includes underwater contours and soundings, bottom structure, wrecks, shoals, beacons, buoys, lead lights, marina entrances, tidal zones, and tide calculations.
The sleek GPSMAP 450 features an ultra-bright 100mm QVGA display; built-in, satellite-enhanced worldwide basemap and simplified user operation.
Navigate with Ease
The GPSMAP 450 has just a few buttons and a simple, intuitive interface. Don't hesitate - Navigate.
Add Sonar
GPSMAP 450s version, includes a powerful dual frequency transducer that clearly paints depth contours, fish targets and structure whether you’re fishing in freshwater or off the coast. The 450 and 450s are also CANet™ compatible, so you can share sounder data with another chartplotter on your boat.
With the optional BlueChart g2 Vision SD card, you can add a whole new dimension of exceptional features to your chartplotter.
3D mariner’s eye view or fish eye view provides you with a 3-dimensional perspective of map information, both above the waterline and below it.
High-resolution satellite images and aerial photographs help you orient yourself in unfamiliar areas.
Auto Guidance technology searches through all relevant charts to create a route you can actually follow — one that avoids obstacles, shallow water, buoys and other obstructions.
The SD card slot is not designed to read any other Garmin Mapsource mapping, including Bluechart for other areas in the Pacific, or City Navigator.
