In order to use n'Route, all you need as a minimum, is a Garmin eTrex Venture or GPS72 handheld, a Garmin GPS18 module, or Garmin Bluetooth GPS10, and City Navigator Australia CD.

n'Route tracks your location using either north-up, or vehicle direction up orientation.
Use it to find, and calculate a route to, any address, or point of interest, such as post office, bank, restaurant or diner. nRoute provides the driver with information, including upcoming cross-streets, street addresses, speed, bearing, and elevation. |
It also allows you to use multiple trip computers to track distance, time, and speeds to separate different jobs, or business and personal use. You can import and export user data, such as a record of where you have been for later analysis.
nRoute works with all auto-routing MapSource products.
nRoute was designed for use with the GPS 18, but will work with almost any Garmin GPS over serial or USB protocols. |

MAP Viewer

GPS Waypoint, Tracks and Route MANAGEMENT.
City Navigator can manually create waypoints and routes, or can calculate a route based on shortest or quickest method, from anywhere to anywhere in Australia. This information can be loaded to any Garmin GPS. Or you can download waypoints, routes, and tracks from the Garmin, and they will be overlayed on the screen for direct comparison with existing information.

REAL TIME MOVING MAP. All Garmin Mapsource products allow you to connect a Garmin GPS by cable, and track the GPS position on the map, in real-time (would normally require a laptop computer). City Navigator Australia only operates in real time with the appropriate licence coded GPS.

Professional users will find Mapsource City Navigator a convenient method of saving Garmin GPS points and tracks from all models, except the early GPS100 series. Export points and tracks in a convenient ASCII delimited text or DXF file, complete with header information on datum and format. Then use GarmapPro software for translating Garmin GPS data in Arcview or Mapinfo formats,
