Basic Hi-303
 *The HAICOM HI-303MMF CF card GPS, is a folding GPS receiver and embedded antenna designed to slot in to any computing device, with EITHER
1. a CF Card slot, or
2. a PCMCIA slot, or
3. a USB or PSII port.
The Hi303 is supplied as a SirfIII chip (see separate page), or an LP type, S type, or E type. We sell each type for the same price. They are all MMF folding types, but the model name is slightly different. You can also purchase the Hi-305 series which has an additional SD memory slot.
The LP type Hi303MMF has a special "Sirf" low power chip, so if you particularly want less power drain, use this. This unit may not work as well in tough situations (tall buildings, forest etc).
The S type Hi303S has
a "Sirf" chip with extra gain on the GPS signal, so may be better in tough situations (tall buildings, forest etc).
The E tupe Hi 303E is an "Evermore" chipset with all round performance.
Power is supplied by the PDA/computer slot or the cable. It is ideal for use with a laptop computer, or a PDA, such as Palm, Pocket PC or Windows CE device.*
The HI-303 will track up to twelve satellites at a time, with low power consumption. Internal memory backup allows the HI-303 to use recently stored GPS data, to speed acquisition time.
