The Bluetooth Hi-406BT is a very small wireless GPS that uses the acclaimed SirfIII new generation GPS chip, with 20 instead of 12 channels for satellite reception. It also has an option with LED compass indication for North. This Bluetooth GPS has a long lasting removeable battery. You can send continuous GPS data to host devices, such as a notebook PC, Pocket PC, Smart Phone, Tablet PC, etc. Simply connect the Hi-406 GPS receiver to the 12volt cigar socket, and you have true mobility for your in-car navigation mapping.

Equipped with the powerful and ultra sensitive SiRF StarIII chip set, Haicom's HI-406BT obtains a 3D fix in a very short time, even in a poor reception environment. Situations include the middle of the car, next to tall buildings, in your backpack, or pocket.

*The HAICOM Bluetooth Hi-406BT is quite a minitiarised wireless remote GPS unit. The Bluetooth GPS incorporates it's own battery supply, so it will not be a drain on the Palm/PocketPC or other computer power.

HI-406BT is a GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver and wireless Bluetooth interface, with built-in active antenna and(optionally) a digital compass function. With HI-406BT, your mobile devices, such as, Smartphone, PocketPC, laptopPC, tabletPC, etc. can receive GPS data.

Changeable battery: The battery can be changed without interrupting the GPS position signal.

Multi-function Connector: The functions of the mini-1394 connector on the side are: a) Charging the battery in the Bluetooth GPS from 12v DC or 240v AC, or from a USB port (latter requires optional adaptor cable).
