Maptrax
maps are supplied on CD to each customer's order. Digital maps
are geo-referenced, ready for use in moving
map and Trax software. (Geo-referenced means they are geodetically
and spatially correct for GPS position input). They are colour
enhanced, and far superior to any maps you digitize yourself. Examples
of moving map software for general use are MemoryMap, Fugawi or Oziexplorer.

and mapping is available here.
If
you require mapping for use in a PDA, Pocket PC, or Palm, please
advise when ordering as you may require
a more compressed format.
Maptrax digital maps are continually being updated, to reflect the
latest editions of printed maps. Maptrax Australia produces Raster
Digital topographic maps in a standard format (BSB) which will work
for all popular moving map software such as Fugawi, Oziexplorer and
Trax, and similar products available around the world. Maptrax also
produces maps in the ozf2 format for Oziexplorer and other
formats. The price per map is $7.70 (the same price as the paper
version) with a minimum order of 10 maps of similar or mixed map
scales - For larger quantity purchases the following discounts apply:

Maptrax raster maps are available in Regional Packs of mixed scales,
or as single maps, with minimum 10 maps on a CD,
Maptrax are able to
reproduce the raster topographic maps of Australia in the following
formats: TIFF/TFW, TIFF/TAB, JPEG/JGW, GEOTIFF, NOSGEO. Format datum
will be the published map datum AGD66, but can be adjusted to WGS84
or GDA94 if specified with order. The price per map is $13.20. See

Fugawi Moving Map Software - Version 3 includes World Data base
CD - also supports Palm OS PDA, and the Pocket PC OS. Price $187
OziExplorer Moving map software- made in Australia $130 (will work
with Natmap 1:250K CD Rom, whole of Australia
for $99. Will also work with the digital elevation model of Australia
to produce 3D mapping.)
Trax free GPS moving map program.
Haicom CF card GPS- for laptop computer,
Palm OS, Pocket PC, Windows CE and other PDA devices.
Maptrax
Australia offer the complete Australian highway road system, as produced
by National Roads and Motorists Association (NRMA, sort of like the
AA, or RAC).
This mapping has most detail in the New South Wales area, so includes
all rural roads, and some town detail. This mapping is useable as
a GPS moving map (with GPS input) or as a viewer. It includes a comprehensive
look-up database of place names, and is supplied with Trax GPS software.

Aviation Charts from Air Services Australia.
World Aeronautical Charts (WAC), Visual Terminal
Charts (VTC), Enroute Charts and Visual Navigation Charts (VNC) are
in BSB format for use
with moving map software. Each Aero Chart pack includes a 556 Airfield
location search with Y code and classification. Chart
packs may be updated at each new edition date for VNC, VTC, ERC and
TAC by returning your original
CD at time of change. The
new editions will be charged at 10% less
than new edition map prices only. New edition WACS will be 10%
less each.
Charts and Chart Packs are ready to be imported into:
1. computer applications such as Fugawi (allows Zooming between different Chart
scales) and OziExplorer moving map software
2. Pocket PC (Windows CE) and Palm Pilot solutions such as Fugawi (allows Zooming
between different Chart scales). The Aeronautical Chart sets are also available
in Ozf2 format for use with OziexplorerCE and are provided with the .MAP file
for ready use.
Charts can be purchased individually, or as
packs on CD. When ordering, please specify the chart and map format
you
require (BSB or Ozf2). All these mapping products are available
