June 2012 I purchased my Zumo 660, mount bracket, aux battery etc from you & you guys & your service & prices were really impressive / great to deal with.

My back ground is Automotive diagnostic / Tech support so I appreciate the difficulties of providing support & appreciate it done well.

At the time I thought (& told many) that for GPS equipment that you guys were the best in the business .... by a long way.
Great price & spectacular service, dispatch, assistance, all brilliant.
I still recommend you to others but haven't dealt with you for a while.

For all to Know. The Garmin product is very very good but J A support makes it brilliant.
I had checked for updates & then tried to do a firmware update on the official Garmin web site & via a glitch after back up, I had lost all software on my Zumo.

Zumo was hardware only. No matter what I tried. I could not recover it.
The only thing Zumo could do was display the message system software missing.
Garmin tech support were very helpful but a posting away etc maybe a ten day turn around was pending (also pending was a trip through the Victorian High Country, which would have been nice to have had Zumo along)

When I rang Johnny Apple Seed as an after thought, (since they were so good when I had purchased from them in the past) just in case they could advise some thing, maybe a bit quicker turn around etc.

James (what a champion) is firstly very helpful & says he has some info' for me, could be a moment to find it & could he email me some step by step instructions. Sounds good to me.

Step by step & whacko...

Zumo is up & running again, new firmware in, all my software / saved trips etc back in.
(& the routes for the High country are now being planned on Zumo...yea ha)

Clearly, if its hassle free GPS equipment. great prices, brilliant advice & support you want then clearly you have to deal with Johnny Apple Seed. (or else seek psycho therapy, if you don't, you may need to have your head read)

I had researched online for the best mounts to secure my Garmin eTrex20 for use in car and on my bicycle when GeoCaching.
RAM mounts consistently appeared as the best brand so it was a no brainer.
What motivated me to order through Johnny Appleseed GPS online store was; local presence, items were in-stock and importantly I was able to “Live Chat” to staff member to confirm that the selection would work for both my car and bicycle.

I'm just writing to thank you for the excellent service Johnny Appleseed has provided throughout my recent purchase of a Garmin GPS unit.

I'd originally purchased one of these units from the USA via ebay. After 4 weeks of waiting the seller still hadn't shipped the item, because he hadn't received stock from Garmin. I then discovered Johnny Appleseed. Not only are you in Australia, but your prices are very reasonable, you had the unit in stock (and didn't pretend to have it in stock when you didn't) and I received it within a couple of days of purchase.
I will make you my first port of call whenever I wish to purchase electronics gear in the future.

This is amazing!! We ordered 2 Garmin Etrex 20's from you yesterday and they've just been delivered (5 mins ago) to [..] in Western Australia.
[..] is about an hour's drive south of Perth.
It takes 2 days to get a letter delivered from Perth so the speed of delivery from Queensland is outstanding and fantastic.

I purchased a Garmin Oregon 450t handheld GPS and it works a treat!

I Ride a CB600F Hornet "08" & decided it was time to mount my Garmin Etrex Vista on my bike as it is my main mode of transport.
The parts I used are:
RAM-HOL-GA5U
RAM-B-238U
RAM-B-201U-A
RAM-B-367U

This system worked better than I had first thought it would the whole setup sits quite low. Almost like it was made for the bike.
After looking through the RAM Website & deciding what I wanted to mount my GPS, I headed to Johnny Appleseed in Melbourne , "Victoria, Australia".
The Staff at Johnny Appleseed were only to helpful with the parts I needed.
The best part about this mounting system is that it sits in amongst the handlebars so it is easy to use even if I'm ridding or stationary & if I don't want to leave the system on the bike it takes me about 15 seconds to remove it.

I am writing to inform you I believe you have the best store front staff of any electronic company I have encountered in over 40 years in business.
I went to your Annerley store a week or so ago asking for assistance with the operation of my Garmin, A chap who's name is Andrew provided me with advice and assistance that was invaluable.
I returned the Garmin Nuvi 265 to Garmin they in turn sent me a replacement that arrived today, however it came without instructions, not being as smart as a Fifth Grader I contacted your office for help.
This bought me to your office at Salisbury. I contacted your office by phone and spoke with Jayson who said it would be acceptable to come on over. That I did and met Kelsey whose assistance was just great.
I have this question for you! In my 40 years in business I was never able to put a team in the office that showed such class. I did employ during the 70s & 80s over 70 staff manufacturing clothing.

Ordered some RAM gear at 4:00 pm yesterday. It arrived at my door 11:00 am today. It took all of 10 minutes to order it over the net with the help of a very efficient website. I'm not one to write to businesses to thank them for the service, however on this occasion i need to say great service. This is the type of service that makes customers come back again and again. Went online and ordered my Garmin 1450T on Thursday and within 24 hours was available at my Post Office Box. How good is that? I realised that there might be a slight delay sending it to a postal box, but staff at my local PO took the time to ring and let me know that it had arrived.
Loads of features - just getting to grasps with it now. First trial coming up this morning even though it is only local and I know the way. But getting ready for the longer trips later this year.

I called in to your Boondall store on Saturday to replace the car power adapter for my Nuvi 310 because the end had somehow disappeared. The young man serving me could have just pulled one down from behind the counter but instead looked at the my damaged unit and said I think I can fix that with a couple of spare parts. He went out back and after a short while returned with my little baby fixed. He tested it on their power supply and it was as good as gold and for only a small labour charge.

Last week I placed an order for a Garmin Oregon 300 at around 4pm and it arrived (by Aust. Air Exp.) the next morning at 11am. I also placed an order for a case last Friday to be delivered by normal post. It arrived today (Monday). What terrific service – Well done!!

I also want to make comment on the Oregon 300 and Garmin Topo charts....

As a VFR pilot and a professional Navigator I am SO impressed with this little device and associated software. The unit has exceptional sensitivity and for all of those reviews suggesting the screen is too dark in the sunlight – It isn't, and these people are obviously very hard to please. The usability of this device is the best that I've used and the touch screen provides a simple user interface.

JA, well done one the prompt service and I’ll definitely be recommending you to others.
