The TomTom GO 930 takes account of all types of "fixed" delay in its route calculation, including roundabouts, speed bumps, railway crossings, steep slopes and sharp bends in mountains. It also allows for more unpredictable delays, like shopping crowds and children leaving school. It then intuitively recalculates the quickest route based on this "real life" data.

There's also improved lane guidance to ensure you are in the correct lane at the right time. On a motorway, the "junction view" appears on the screen - a realistic 3D representation of the junction with a blinking arrow above the lane you need to take. This makes it clear where you should be, to go the way you want. The view appears at the same time as the voice instruction (800m before the junction). It shows the number of lanes, the lane dividers and the geometry of the road for 200m after the junction.
