Built-in GPS Receiver
Incorporates the latest SiRF Star III GPS chipset and 25mm x 25 mm GPS Patch Antenna. The antenna can be swiveled to allow the PDA to be used either horizontally or vertically. The ASUS MyPal A636 PDA features a 416Mhz processor, 128MB of internal memory, WiFi, Bluetooth, SD card slot, 3.5" TFT LCD screen, and 1300mAh removable and rechargeable battery.

A very capable Pocket PC
Reputed to have unusually lengthy battery life for a PDA - up to 7 hours in portable navigation mode (We cannot yet verify this).

The A636 uses Microsoft's Pocket PC operating system, so you get all the functionality of address book, Pocket Word and Excel, scheduler, and plenty of other software to choose from for other applications.

When using satellite navigation, signal reception may be affected if you are located inside a building, tunnel, or underground, or if there are large obstacles in the immediate vicinity. If this occurs, the system will temporarily be unable to provide you with navigation assistance and positioning information.
Due to safety concerns, it is strongly recommended that no attempt be made to manually operate this system while driving.

All Travroute CoPilot systems come with the "Live" option, which allows you to track any of your GPS. Travroute on a Bluetooth PDA can be interfaced with any Bluetooth GPRS phone. Travroute on a laptop computer can be interfaced with a GPRS phone. In both cases, the current location is transmitted to the Travroute website.
