Garmin Dash Cam Long Power Cable (010-12530-07)

It was not that easy to find this type of cable that was long enough and not too expensive. You guys came up with the goods on both counts. On top of that the delivery time was far better than expected. I could not be happier.

I needed this for my Garmin Mini 2 dash cam to fit one in the rear window of my Subaru Outback. The box cable was only 4m and was short by just 1m!! So I purchased the Garmin 8m (Shame they didn’t offer a 5m or 6m option as I had to lose about 2/3m in the car). The cable is much thicker than the 4m cable by 2/3mm, over the boxed 4m was perfect to run above the roof cover and down the pillars, but it still ran in ok, but a bit tight in some of the runs in the boot trunking. I believe it thicker to compensate for the longer length and any volt drop or data loss (so thicker copper wire). Overall did the job well and works great!!!
