    Has some issues to resolve

I've owned the watch for 3 weeks now and for day to day duties the watch is amazing. Looks really good on the wrist, the size is perfect for me, it's neither bulky or uncomfortable. And it tracks everything you could want to keep a track of. The battery on this thing is amazing. Charges to full within about 2-3 hours and then can last up to 2 weeks depending on use (GPS, activity tracking etc.). The screen resolution and colour spectrum is pretty average but I'm sure that contributes to the long life of the battery so not a big deal really. The HRM, stress rate and sleep monitoring seems fairly accurate. The stress rate monitor might be a little over sensitive as it says that I rarely have enough restful moments in my day (could be true). The sleep mode also is pretty good and gives a good enough idea of how your nights sleep went. In activity mode the strength training app is ok. I like the way it picks up what exercise I'm performing and is usually pretty accurate. It's no big deal if it gets it wrong though as I can edit it after the workout which I need to do anyway to enter the weights etc. that I was lifting. It doesn't always count the reps properly either which again isn't a massive deal as I can manually edit that after my workout (I track my workout on my phone as well). Having to stop and start the watch on each set can be a bit annoying as it is common to forget to start a set on the watch but that's on me, I can't blame the watch for that. The deal breaker on this watch is the HRM monitor in activity mode. In activity mode (for gym related activities anyway) the HRM may as well not even be there because the information from it is completely useless. I had a fitbit blaze prior to this and the HRM monitor on that was accurate to within a few beats per minute (give or take 5 beats). The Garmin, however, shows my heart rate during strenuous exercise as 83 beats per minute when my finger and clock say it's more like 152 bpm. That's a good 69 bpm off which for a $500-600 dollar watch is completely unacceptable. If your doing a workout where you try to keep your heart rate in a zone then forget about it, buy a casio for $5 bucks and use your fingers to manually workout your heart rate because that will be far less annoying than having a resting heart rate showing when you can feel your heart trying to beat it's way out of your chest. How it manages to only count 50% of the beats is beyond me and they need to do something to fix this issue. I've tried wearing the watch tighter, wearing the watch further up my arm away from the wrist but nothing seems to help. I have no choice now but to go out and buy the chest strap to track my workouts which is another large cost on top of the watch. The other annoying thing about the heart rate monitor being so far off is that at the end of my workouts when it spits out the stats in the app it says that my work out was pretty much useless and had no positive effect. Pretty much no point tracking activities with the watch without a chest strap monitor to accurately record metrics. I wouldn't mind if it was out by 5-10 bpm but 69 bpm is ridiculous. I haven't tried it with an activity like running or hiking yet which might be a bit more accurate than what I have been experiencing in the gym. All II can do is compare it to my previous watch for the same duties and it falls flat on its face. I can't comment on GPS functionality / accuracy as I haven't used that feature. I hope for the price the watch lasts a lot longer than my fitbit to justify the expense paid on it. Longevity wasn't the fitbits friend. I also hope the HRMs inaccuracy is a bug in the software and can be fixed with an update. Till then I'll remain disappointed with it. If the heart rate monitor functioned properly I'd give it 4 stars.

Pros: Stylish, Amazing battery life, packed full of features, comfortable, sturdy construction
Cons: HRM in activity mode is worse than useless, price

Quality and functionality is exactly what I hoped for

Great quality as one would expect at this level of GPS sports watch. A large range of data available to the app that satisfies all forms of activities for those who want to analyze their training. Comfortable to wear and great battery life. Ability to customize makes the watch more user friendly

Pros: User interface and the great range of settings and data it offers. Connectivity to the Garmin app. Customer set up option. Accuracy of the GPS tracking. Water proof

Great device feels good to wear

Main gripe is the accuracy of GPS especially on the runs. Compared to my previous Garmin wearing them at the same time approx 90-100 my out over a KM. Have to adjust using the auto lap function. But apart from that great watch and capabilities

Pros: Lots of data for you to help improve your chosen sport
Cons: Accuracy of GPS is out compared to my previous Garmin

Does all you really want and then some!

This watch is fantastic to the semi-serious runner who wants to do more than just run. There are so many different functions to record different activities. And the information that you obtain from the data is fantastic. By far the best watch/activity tracker I've used. Yes, some of the functionality may not be good as other specific devices, but on the whole this watch does so much really well that all others lack. Livetrack is very useful when you want to let others follow your activity for fun or safety. Couldn't recommend this highly enough and no-one would be disappointed buying it.

Pros: So many functions and so much useful information. Extremely comfortable to wear.
Cons: Bit pricey but you won't care!!
