Garmin fenix 3 Quick Release Kit (010-12168-11)

I have used this Quick release kit with some of the pool session done the plastic snapped when my watch hit the floating Lane plastic divider then my watch Dropped. I can image on race having the mix in front the swim would get your Watch $$$$ lost in the lake or sea. Lucky i have experience this on the pool. Then now you have to buy the whole kit again no parts can be bought.

I had the quick release for the 920XT as well and found it quite large. The fenix 3 is a thicker watch so I was worried about its use for triathlons. The quick release kit DOES take the quite thick fenix 3 to am almost uncomfortable size but it works well converting the watch into a decent bike computer and for short runs. I haven't taken it for a decent length of run yet, but the shorter ones weren't that comfortable after a while. It's great for those long rides, not so much for the long runs.
