Garmin Wireless Camera Extension (010-12043-10)

This extension Lead allowed me to position my Garmin BC30 Reverse Camera Wi-Fi Sender unit from the rear of my Caravan to the front of the Van ensuring a much stronger reception with the Wi-Fi Receiver Unit mounted in the front of my car guaranteeing me fantastic Camera Reception.

I was a bit skeptical about this product as I originally did not think I would need it. But having a caravan and car combo meant that the extra wifi distance from back of my caravan to front of car may have affected the end result. So I bit the bullet and purchased the long (50 feet) extension lead and installed it. I did not need the all of the extra length, but just wound up the extra not needed. When installing the unit, I placed the sender unit in the front boot of my caravan to protect it from the weather, so the sender had to send single through van lid. The end result was that I have an excellent picture , and not only that, I was surprised that even when my car is approx 25 meters away from the van, it still clearly picks up the rear caravan picture.
