I wanted to attach my Ram phone holder and adjustable arm to a near vertical and slightly curved section of a VW Crafter dashboard, I was a little concerned that the adhesive may not hold especially with the hot sun. The adhesive is rock solid and my Samsung Note phone is perfectly stable.

Works as advertised, but time will tell if the adhesive pad will survive the Australian Sun. Only small annoyance is that the adhesive pad is not attached to the ball mount. You have one shot to get it fitted correctly. I see no reason why this is not installed by the manufacturer.

An ideal solution for placing my Samsung Galaxy on my dashboard of my car. Using a Ram mount case I can transfer the phone between my car and bike in seconds. This B -Ball adapted to the curved surface well.

I chose this mount to attach a reversing camera screen to the dash board. As modern vehicle dashboards are notoriously difficult to adhere anything onto, I wasn't surprised to needed to monitor this mount once in place. After a couple of reattachments in warm weather, it seems to be holding the weight of the 7" screen quite well. Time will tell... When installing this mount, consider positioning the load to provide a downward force onto the adhesive pad.
