The RAP-BB-230-24-201 is a High Strength Composite Plastic component with a dual 1" ball and a 1" open socket, designed to be used with other RAM 1" B-Ball parts. The extension pole measures 24" from end to end.

Ball Size: B size (1") Rubber Ball

Good product, limited use

I bought this item with the hope of attaching a reversing camera horizontally, but there was a lot of flex and no way it was going to hold steady. This virtually needs to be vertical to work.

Pros: lightweight, reasonably priced
Cons: only good vertically

Good bit of gear, but a bit long

I bought this to mount a camera in the sail mast hole on my Hobie kayak to shoot photos well clear of feet and sounder. Once I got it on board however, I found that it was about twice as long as I needed and quite unstable at that height. Easily rectified, but for this purpose consider the shorter arm.

Pros: Good mounting hardware
Cons: Too long for the purpose
