Garmin Powered Suction Mount inReach+ (010-12525-02)

Would recommend buying this product as they are hands free and the devices are not just thrown in the car or going under the seats.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Garmin facility in the USA in the early 1990's when I purchased one of their first General Aviation GPS products & I have continued to use both their Aviation, Road Vehicle & In Reach GPS's one way or another since then. I can thoroughly recommend their products.

I use this brand of mount both recreationally and at work in mineral exploration, with the exception of one suction mount failing arfter 10 years of continuous abuse I have never had an issue with their gear. As with anything from RAM mount it is quality all the way. Connections are good and secure, very easy to remove the unit from the cradle if you need to walk with it. Powered cradle means the unit is always charging while the vehicle is running. The mount and cradle are very robust. Personally I would never buy a suction type device mount that is not made by ram. The main structure of the unit is universal, if the suction cup fails , you can just buy this as a replacement, you don’t have to buy the arm and cradle again. Same applies to cradle.. just a great product with the build quality of old that we seem to see less and less of these days.
