Garmin zumo 590 595 RAM Bracket Mount (010-10962-10)

OK, purchased a couple of bits to mount my Zumo XT to a second bike. All the bits worked a treat and made the XT even more versatile as I can use it on two of my bikes.

Had to purchase a RAM handle bar mount to allow even pressure on the handle bar. Less likelihood to damage the bar when tightened.

Essential part to use the Zumo595 on a motorbike.

Rock solid mount, no vibration or movement issues. This one has a clamp that is specifically designed to mount onto your mirror. You can still use it to mount directly to the handle bars, but the clamp looks a bit heinous, and you may want to consider swapping the clamp out for something cleaner looking if you're fussy. other than that - functionally it works great, and also works with the zumo 660 cradle. Note - if you are going to replace the clamp, and are also purchasing a 660 cradle, it may be cheaper to just buy the RAM components separately, as the 660 cradle comes with the ball, and then all you need is the bar clamp and the riser to complete.

I could not get the fittings for Garmin Zumo GPS in NZ, and appreciated the service from Johnny Appleseed who provided exactly what I needed in quick time
