This subscription provides the user with 100 hours of network access in QLD, over a 12 month period.
When used with the correct equipment, accuracies of between 1 and 2 centimetres can be achieved.
Using a subscription to the SmartNet Aus RTK CORS network eliminates the need for you to set up your own base station in many populated parts of Australia.
There is no need to worry about battery life at the base, finding a secure site, or forgetting cables. You will be using the cellular phone data network, not limited by radio range or interference issues. You simply set up your GPS/GNSS rover, and through a SIM card start receiving the DPGS/DGNSS RTK survey grade corrections from the SmartNet Aus CORS network.
To top it off, you are probably halving your capital investment, by not requiring your own RTK base station.
